Experienced Indirect Tax Manager Required

Job Summary:
As a seasoned Indirect Tax Manager, you will lead and support a VAT compliance team in Bengaluru, ensuring accurate preparation of UK VAT returns within tight deadlines for multiple VAT registrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the VAT compliance team to prepare accurate VAT returns on time for various VAT registrations
- Develop and motivate the team for continuous improvement and growth
- Foster strong relationships with multiple UK agencies, representing the VAT compliance team as a trusted partner
- Collaborate with local Finance teams to resolve VAT return-related queries efficiently
- Oversee post-return follow-up processes where applicable
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive knowledge database for the team
- Review calculations for monthly accruals and reconcile indirect tax accounts with VAT returns
- Respond to requests from the VAT Compliance senior manager and assist with tax audits
Requirements:
- Proven experience in indirect tax management and leadership
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management
