Job Description:
The Department of Mathematics at a leading university invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic service at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Mathematics, such as Calculus, Algebra, Analysis, and specialized courses depending on the candidate's expertise. Develop, design, and update course materials and syllabi. Engage in interactive, student-centered teaching and provide mentorship to students. Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams, providing timely feedback to students. Supervise students' research projects, theses, and dissertations as appropriate.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required. Strong academic record and research experience in an area of mathematics that complements or enhances the department's current strengths. Experience as a graduate teaching assistant or instructor is highly desirable. Demonstrated research productivity in Mathematics through publications in reputable journals is preferred. Strong knowledge of contemporary developments in the field of mathematics is essential.
