About the Role

This position is for a skilled software engineer who can work on large-scale applications with complex architecture.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, Node JS and other technologies listed below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-performance web applications using rich client-side and REST based server-side code.
  • Implement Microservices Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) in real-life applications.
  • Work with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL to store and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to work on complex Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in software development with a focus on shipping software.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Ruby on Rails and Node JS including Object Oriented Design.
  • Experience with MVC, Web forms Framework.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, reliability, security.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or related databases is a plus.
  • Experience with queuing technologies like RabbitMQ/Kafka/AWS SQS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RESTful Web Services and API development using Ruby on Rails or any other Node JS framework.
  • Familiarity with full-stack development ranging from front-end user interfaces to backend systems.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, React Js/TypeScript, Graph Query Language (GQL).
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch/Solr.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud.
