Job Opportunity

Aptimized seeks a Data Engineering & Business Intelligence professional to support enterprise data initiatives. This role combines hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and reporting delivery, ensuring timely and accurate insights for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be technically proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, capable of building scalable data pipelines while developing high-quality dashboards and reports that enable better decision-making.

  • Data Engineering & Reporting Development:
    • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
    • Implement data models tailored for reporting.
    • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic layers.
    • Ensure reports and dashboards follow governance, security, and performance best practices.
    • Support teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Data Engineering & Integration:
    • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
    • Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
    • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting needs.
    • Support integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

Requirements

Required:

  • 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
  • Strong skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles.
  • Experience working in an offshore delivery model.
