Cyber Security Specialist

Our organization seeks a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen its security posture. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring attack surfaces, and driving remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess newly published vulnerabilities, providing risk-based insights for informed security decisions.
  • Develop and enhance Attack Surface Management tools to track external exposure and potential entry points.
  • Conduct proactive vulnerability testing and black-box penetration testing initiatives to identify and address security risks.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Automate workflows for vulnerability identification, assessment, and reporting to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity with a focus on Vulnerability Intelligence & ASM tools.
  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing (web/infrastructure) and security scanning tools.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation.
  • Familiarity with CVE databases, OWASP Top 10, Microsoft Security bulletins, and open-source intelligence.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical insights into business language.
