Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of modern web applications and guiding a team of full stack developers in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your technical expertise to architect scalable backend services using Python and Node.js, designing complex database schemas and queries with PostgreSQL.
  • Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React.js, integrating third-party services via RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with expertise in leadership and mentoring.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development, including hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end practices.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and complex query design.
  • Show proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services, and working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Evidence excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, with a strong focus on technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets, microservices architecture, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest), and exposure to DevOps practices.
