Senior Software Engineer

Are you a skilled software developer looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and sustainable technology products and solutions. They will work closely with local and partner teams to deliver amazing guest experiences while meeting business needs.

This is a key role in expanding our technology capabilities, and we're looking for someone with strong software delivery fundamentals, including automated testing, source control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build new systems from the ground up
  • Collaborate with local and partner teams
  • Conform to quality standards
  • Identify performance issues and optimize solutions
  • Apply knowledge of security coding practices
  • Lead end-to-end engineering for projects and problems of complex scope and impact
  • Ensure engineering teams meet production SLAs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development, including Java/Spring Boot, design patterns, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres SQL, CD/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Kafka, and Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns, synchronous/asynchronous processing, and error handling patterns
  • Experience building web services and integrations with message-driven architecture
