Key Responsibilities:
1. **System Administration**: Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW) across development, quality, and production environments.
2. **Monitoring and Performance Tuning**: Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to identify and resolve issues proactively.
3. **Transport Management**: Manage transport requests and ensure smooth transport of changes across different system landscapes.
4. **User Administration**: Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations to ensure security and compliance within the SAP environment.
5. **Backup and Disaster Recovery**: Implement and maintain backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and recovery procedures are in place.
6. **System Upgrades and Patches**: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while minimizing downtime.
7. **Collaboration**: Work closely with functional teams to support system integration and troubleshoot issues related to the SAP applications.
8. **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and guidance to users and resolve system-related issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 yrs proven experience as a SAP Basis consultant or similar role; familiarity with SAP HANA is a plus.
- Certifications: SAP certifications in Basis or related areas are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), and operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
