Oracle Database Administrator Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Oracle database administrator to lead a team and manage complex databases.

This role requires someone with expertise in Grid Installation and Upgradation, as well as experience with Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and Golden Gate.

The ideal candidate should have expert-level understanding of Oracle database architecture, experience working with various teams to resolve performance issues, and specialized knowledge of Oracle RAC and its complexity across servers, OS, network, and storage layers.

  • Analyze and diagnose performance issues from SQL to application to database to system to storage
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve database performance and efficiency
  • Lead a team of Oracle database administrators and provide guidance and support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project initiatives
  • Implement and maintain high availability features of Oracle database
  • Maintain complete understanding of Oracle database backup recovery options
Requirements:
  • 18+ years of experience in Oracle database administration
  • Prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies
  • Mandatory skills: RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management), Database backup and recovery, DB Migration and performance tuning
