Site Reliability Engineer

The Role:

Our team is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our software systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team.

This position involves working closely with global teams to manage our observability platform, onboarding users and applications, and collaborating with other teams to ensure the adoption of best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or engineering, experience with Linux and Windows operations systems, and proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Bash, and Terraform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the stability and scalability of our software systems
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Developing and maintaining monitoring and logging tools
  • Creating dashboards and alerting policies
  • Maintaining tool/platform architecture and revising it regularly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience in observability engineering
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and SRE principles
