Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Energy Management Systems Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Energy Management Systems (EMS) projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. HES & MDM Product development for various business cases.
  2. BSP solution & workflow document preparation.
  3. Meter data integration from HES to MDM, MDM to Billing System, MDM to Prepaid System, MDM to CRM, MDM to Device Management.
  4. Analysis of design documents for requirement gathering.
  5. Troubleshooting of HES & MDM system-related problems and resolving them.
  6. Smart meters, AMR meters with RF/GSM/GPRS, 3G/4G communication technology.
  7. Providing administrative support to the admin team for setting up data entry in customer premises.
  8. Involved in project planning, execution of projects with vendor finalization, training to contractors & installers etc.
  9. End-to-end customer system testing of HES & MDM along with prepaid engine and other business processes.
  10. Conducting multiple project trainings and UATs to customers w.r.t. HES, MDM, Integration, Configuration, Prepaid System etc.
  11. Day-to-day data monitoring, analyzing data.
  12. Validation & testing of meter data and running applications using HES & MDM applications.
  13. Development and maintenance of consumer survey applications and meter installation applications.
  14. Implementation of billing data integration with utilities billing (prepaid & postpaid) systems.
  15. Preparing proposed technical solutions, technical documents, and product presentations for AMI and non-AMI based energy meters.
  16. Team building, collaborating with team members and senior management to maintain a continuous stream of information regarding the product & project status and progress.
  17. Maintaining SLA for smooth billing by coordinating with the field team to address complaints and ensure accurate readings.
  18. Daily monitoring and analyzing of multiple reports (HES reads, MDM reads, MDM reports advising, non-communicating meters, TSP, different types of exceptions) for betterment of the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EMS project management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HES & MDM systems.
  • Experience with smart meters, AMR meters, and their communication technologies.
