Job Overview

The Technical and Functional Expert plays a pivotal role in providing technical support and functional expertise for the implementation, customization, and maintenance of the FiServ DNA platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Objectives:

  • Design, develop, and deploy customizations and enhancements in the FiServ DNA platform to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Create and maintain interfaces with external systems using APIs, web services, and other integration tools to facilitate efficient data exchange.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to FiServ DNA, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Optimize system performance and maintain system integrity through regular monitoring and updates.
  • Develop and manage integration solutions between FiServ DNA and third-party tools/applications.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including code comments, design specifications, and user manuals.

Functional Requirements:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Configure FiServ DNA modules to align with banking operations and business workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Customize workflows, parameters, and system settings to meet functional requirements and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute test plans for system modifications and upgrades, ensuring thorough validation and quality assurance.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business needs and expectations.
  • Provide functional support to end-users and resolve issues promptly, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver training sessions and create user-friendly guides for system navigation and usage, promoting knowledge sharing and adoption.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FiServ DNA, with roles spanning both technical and functional areas.
  • Proven track record of working on end-to-end implementation, customization, and support projects.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with FiServ DNA architecture, APIs, and data models.
  • Familiarity with integration tools, web services (SOAP/REST), and ETL processes.

Functional Abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of banking operations, workflows, and compliance standards.
  • Experience configuring core banking modules and resolving functional issues.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed business and functional documentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and business teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
