Job Title: Senior Medical Writer

Job Role:
  • Lead and mentor a team of medical writers.
  • Manage medical writing activities for individual studies, ensuring projects are completed on time.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Serve as a project lead for assigned writing projects.
  • Manage medical writing activities across departments with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor less-experienced medical writers on complex projects.
Content Creation:
  • Compile, write, and edit medical writing deliverables.
  • Create process maps using MS Visio or similar tools.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, company SOPs, and client templates.
Collaboration and Quality Assurance:
  • Review statistical analysis plans and table/figure/listing specifications.
  • Interact with staff in data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs.
Problem-Solving and Administration:
  • Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues and questions.
  • Stay aware of industry practices and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in project management.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Prior team handling experience.
  • Ability to create process maps and use MS Visio.
  • Strong knowledge of industry practices and regulatory guidelines.
