Senior Node.js Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

  • Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
  • Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
  • Familiarity with Serverless (AWS Lambda, etc.).
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) for full-stack contributions.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
