We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager with expertise in Payment and Fintech to helm our global team of talented engineers. Your primary focus will be on spearheading the development and delivery of our products, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and growth opportunities to your team members, empowering them to excel professionally and technically.\
  • Project Management: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, adhering to deadlines, budgets, and scope requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize launches and requirements.\
  • Engineering Standards and Practices: Establish and promote best engineering practices, fostering a culture of code quality, performance, and security within the team.\
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Product, Design, and Go-To-Market teams to define and execute product roadmaps, contributing to technical design and architecture.\
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.\
  • Talent Acquisition: Actively participate in recruiting top-tier engineering talent, working closely with HR on performance management, training, and development.\
  • Solution Optimization: Lead efforts in scaling backend services, optimizing for performance, availability, and security.\

    • Requirements:\
      • \
      • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a management role.\
      • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go, etc.\
      • A security-first mindset: good knowledge of common security concepts such as AuthN, AuthZ, SAML, API security, encryption, etc.\
      • An understanding of crypto concepts such as blockchains, RPCs, self-custody wallets, etc.\
      • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.\
      • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.\
      • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.\
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make critical decisions under pressure.\
      • A passion for innovation, learning, and growth. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a startup environment.\

  • Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, cryptocurrency, APIs, and security.\
  • Interest in crypto and fintech, including knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial regulations. Previous experience in the crypto industry is a plus.\
  • Proficiency in Azure technologies.\
  • Background in security engineering.\
