Master Data Analyst Position Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for analyzing and cleansing master data attributes from existing master data repositories and systems of records.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of data quality principles and practices, as well as experience with SQL and Python scripting languages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and cleansing master data attributes from existing master data repositories and systems of records.
  • Working closely with business and system SMEs to create cleansing rules for critical master data.
  • Developing SQL and Python scripts to cleanse critical master data elements.
  • Integrating these scripts with third-party address verification services for address standardization.
  • Running and testing the cleansing scripts for different domains and business units in an iterative fashion to provide cleansed master data files for migration teams.
  • Creating integration testing scripts and test cases, running test cases, and bug-fixing scripts.
  • Providing support to migration teams in case of clarifications, fixes, and analysis of cleansed master data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information and communication technology or similar.
  • 5-8 years of working experience as a Master Data and Data Quality Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud for Master Data.
  • Extensive hands-on experience on SQL and batch scripting.
  • Advanced SQL for data manipulation and extractions.
  • Advanced hands-on experience on Python for data manipulation and extractions.
  • Experience working on critical data elements for customer master, supplier master, product master, location master, and other domains.
