Strategic Program Manager for Last-Mile Delivery Optimization

This role presents a unique opportunity to join Amazon's Customer Trust & Partner Support team, responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide. As a Strategic Program Manager for Last-Mile Delivery Optimization, you will be part of the Perfect Order Experience team, working to ensure customers can buy with confidence on Amazon.
The A-to-z Guarantee is Amazon's primary mechanism for protecting customers when they encounter a negative order experience with a third-party seller. This program focuses on helping customers easily report problems, sellers to effectively resolve issues, and Amazon systems and associates to efficiently adjudicate decisions.
As a key member of this team, your responsibilities will include coordinating cross-team efforts to reduce potential shipment defects using signals related to last-mile delivery, heavy/bulky items, and pickup statuses. You will also develop strategies to work with carriers in influencing the use of shipping labels and enabling One-Time-Password authentication for delivery.
Additionally, you will partner with business/operations/product and program teams to consult, develop, and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions, and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and resolving issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
To succeed in this role, you will need 3+ years of program or project management experience, as well as experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams. Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL is also required. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements is highly valued.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
