Backend Engineer Role">

The goal of this role is to design and maintain our API backend, credit scoring and underwriting systems, payments integrations, and operations tools. As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with our Product and Data Science teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build out APIs and backend systems for our frontend clients, including our Android mobile app.">
  • Integrate with various third-party systems, including payment systems, identity providers, and messaging platforms.">
  • Help build new financial products.">
  • Scale our backend services to ever-growing levels of traffic and complexity.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have strong experience building backend software for web-based or mobile products. You should also be familiar with modern AI tools, and possess a solid understanding of software development fundamentals, including relevant background in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage, and agile development methodologies.
