Job Overview:

The General Administration Manager will be responsible for coordinating various administrative functions across multiple schools, ensuring they are managed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Campus Facilities:
    • Maintain campus facilities, including upkeep and maintenance of buildings, playgrounds, gardens, and other facilities.
    • Adhere to standards and norms notified by government education departments, affiliating bodies, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Safety and Security Measures:
    • Ensure safety and security measures are in place, including periodic reviews of safety standards and practices.
    • Procure and maintain electronic security devices and access control systems.
    • Perform periodical internal safety audits and corrective steps.
  • Transport Management:
    • Operate school buses through proper vendor engagement and monitoring.
    • Assign students to various bus routes, manage transport staff deployment and training, and supervise bus staff.
  • Medical Services:
    • Maintain medical rooms, equipment, and materials.
    • Administer students' medical records and provide administrative support for medical eventualities.
  • Cafeteria Operations:
    • Operate the cafeteria, including provision of safe drinking water, following testing protocols and precautions.
  • Admissions:
    • Update and implement admissions policies and processes.
    • Prepare admission-related documents and market efforts to achieve optimum student intake.
  • Administrative Systems and Policies:
    • Develop and revise administrative systems, processes, and policies.
    • Digitalise systems and processes.
    • Publish school diary, staff handbook, and administrative policy manual.
  • Audits:
    • Perform periodical audits of safety and security systems and equipment.
    • Regularly follow up on audit comments and their closure.
