Biosensor Developer

Overview:

• The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in biosensor development is required, preferably in the academy, IVD, or medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop biosensors from conception to validation.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with nanoparticle bioconjugation, particularly gold nanoparticles, including fabrication, characterization, and stability assessment.
• Troubleshoot complex biosensor performance issues and optimize sensor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing biosensors for whole blood samples, including on-board buffer integration.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines relevant to IVD product development.
• Advanced analytical techniques for characterizing nanoparticles.
