Quality Assurance and Control Engineer Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. As a QAQC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services by developing and implementing quality control and assurance processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate should be able to handle tasks independently and possess excellent problem-solving skills, technical understanding, design skills, teamwork, interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication, and attention to detail.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing quality control and assurance processes and procedures
  • Conducting quality audits, performing inspections, and identifying quality issues to ensure continuous improvement
  • Documenting and controlling various documents such as GAD, ITP, Procedures, ISO documentation, Inspection reports, and NCR-CAPA
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
  • Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
  • Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
  • Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes

The successful candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with adequate experience, 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance/control, or a similar role, and knowledge of Codes (ASTM SEC II Part A & B, Sec IX, Sec V, Sec VII), ISO, and the 7 QC tools.

Additional qualifications, such as certifications in quality control and assurance, experience in manufacturing or construction sectors, and knowledge of statistical analysis software, would be beneficial.
