Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished data engineering expert to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of our data warehouse, mentoring senior engineers, and engaging directly with clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building a comprehensive roadmap for our data warehouse offerings, solving complex data modeling challenges, ensuring smooth delivery of features, and applying modern data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 Sr. Engineers, guiding their professional growth.
  • Drive client communication, requirement gathering, and strategic planning.
  • Solve complex data modeling challenges and propose/review cutting-edge architecture.
  • Conduct peer reviews & guide best practices in software development.
  • Develop strong documentation & communication skills to collaborate effectively.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong coding expertise, preferably in Python, JVM, and Shell scripting with production-grade experience. Additionally, you should have 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with 4+ years leading teams, and familiarity with cloud-native, data-intensive applications.
