Job Title: Video Editor

About the Job

We're seeking a skilled video editor to join our team. As a video editor, you'll be responsible for creating engaging and polished videos that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select, cut, and assemble raw footage into cohesive and impactful short- and mid-form videos.
  • Add music, sound effects, voice-over, and captions/subtitles to enhance storytelling and create an immersive experience.
  • Apply color correction, audio leveling, transitions, and text or graphic overlays to elevate the visual appeal of our videos.
  • Export videos optimized for various platform aspect ratios and formats.
  • Implement feedback from marketing, product, and creative teams; deliver multiple drafts on tight deadlines.
  • Manage video files, archive projects, maintain version control, and asset libraries.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience editing video content; portfolio with relevant examples required
  • Proficiency with editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
  • Motion graphics, typography, and text animation skills
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management under deadline
  • Good visual storytelling and pacing sense; ability to create engaging hooks and rhythm
  • Reliable high-speed internet and hardware capable of handling HD/4K edits
Nice-to-Have / Preferred

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

  • 3d Motion graphics (Blender or C4D)
  • Experience with motion graphics or visual effects
  • Familiarity with AI editing tools (like Runway, Veo3, etc.)
  • Knowledge of e‑mobility, tech product content, or social media branding
  • Ability to shoot basic b-roll or manage camera setup
