Senior Back End Engineer

Our organization seeks to hire an experienced back-end engineer who can contribute significantly to the growth and development of our technology stack.
As a senior software developer, you will be responsible for maintaining high engineering standards, promoting best practices, and ensuring code quality. Your expertise in NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL will enable us to enhance our infrastructure and deploy services efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and testable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex problems.
- Communicate effectively about technical topics and product implications.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in NodeJS and experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and ability to write optimized raw SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Redis, Docker containers, and AWS deployment.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Retool or low-code tooling platforms.
- Basic proficiency in Python scripting.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, JIRA, or Datadog (or similar observability tools).
