Security Supervisor Job Description\

As a Security Supervisor at our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises. This includes conducting regular patrols of the hotel, managing hotel keys, and securing meeting and exhibition rooms.

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Ensure thorough patrolling of the hotel on a daily basis to maintain a secure environment for guests and employees.\
  • Maintain accurate records of hotel key management procedures and ensure all keys are properly accounted for.\
  • Closedown food and beverage outlets each night to prevent unauthorized access.\
  • Secure all meeting and exhibition rooms to prevent any potential security breaches.\
  • Complete a detailed security log each day, documenting pertinent information from the shift.\
  • Orient new employees to the department and provide on-the-job training on job responsibilities.\
  • Prioritize and assign work tasks effectively to ensure seamless operations.\
  • Provide constructive feedback to employees on their performance and job responsibilities.\
  • Exhibit genuine hospitality and teamwork by actively engaging with guests and colleagues to provide exceptional service.\
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints, using empathy and effective communication skills to resolve issues.\
  • Collaborate with other departments to foster a positive working relationship and achieve common goals.\
  • Take ownership of identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance safety and security.\
  • Communicate proactively with management to address any concerns or issues that may arise.\
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established company policies and procedures.\
  • Foster a positive working environment by promoting open communication, respect, and trust among colleagues.\
  • Project a professional image of our organization at all times, reflecting positively on our brand and values.\

    • Minimum one-three years work experience in the hotel industry in Security.\
    • Minimum one year supervisory experience preferred.\
    • High School Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.\
    • Ability to resolve conflicts effectively among guests, supervisors, and employees.\
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with other hotel employees and managers.\
    • Advanced knowledge of local security regulations and laws.\
    • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.\
    • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and guests.\
