About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP TMS Business Analyst to join our team at Illumina. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for advising on standard SAP solution design and configuration for specific SAP modules and the impact of changes on solutions and/or business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Be seen as a SAP TMS expert and advise on standard SAP solution design and configuration for specific SAP modules and the impact of changes on solutions and/or business processes.
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads, and Value Stream Leads to process design recommendations, defining end-to-end processes, and issue resolutions.
- Identify and implement business process improvements.
- Collaborate with the global customer solutions and GIS team to evaluate support requests.
- Gather and analyze requirements to determine the best solution and implement best practices.
- Provide routine updates to the global team regarding upcoming enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements to the business system to support regulatory audits, efficiency improvements, and additional functionality.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop improved processes and communication in support of business initiatives.
- Escalate appropriate decision-making requirements or process 'choice points' to Global Process Owner and GIS Leads.
- Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences.
- Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes, particularly under tight timelines.
- Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
- 6-8 years of SAP TMS experience preferred.
- Experience as a functional lead with demonstrated capability to work cross teams.
- Around 8 to 10 years of professional experience in SAP supply chain management systems and processes.
- Experience in the implementation of SAP TMS with various deployment options, preferably EWM on S/4 HANA.
- Strong exposure to SAP TMS, SCT Software Carrier Integration, TMS Integration with SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP EHS modules.
- Experience in creating Transportation Management-specific Master Data, i.e., Routes, Transportation network, Mode, Freight Agreement, Rate Table, Trade Compliance Check, etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP TMS. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP TMS with SAP EWM, ECC, GTS on S/4 HANA.
- Proficient experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services).
- Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
- Knowledge about system enhancements and configuration with IT leadership experience with SAP TMS projects.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- Field of Study in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments.
- Consulting background a plus.
- SAP TMS certifications a plus.
