Overview

Omneky, a pioneering generative AI startup in the Bay Area, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to drive the development of our AI-powered creative content platform. As a key member of our India-based team, you will collaborate with our USA team to create scalable and secure web applications.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining end-to-end web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies will enable you to create scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing dynamic, responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React.
  • Collaborating with designers and product managers to develop visually appealing, high-performance UIs.
  • Optimizing frontend performance across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Integrating state management libraries for efficient data handling.
  • Implementing automated testing frameworks to maintain high code quality and performance.
  • Ensuring accessibility (WCAG compliance) in UI designs.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
  • Developing robust, scalable APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
  • Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 3-6 years of full stack development experience, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python with FastAPI, SQL databases, and building scalable APIs.
  • Familiarity with AWS services like ECS, EC2, Lambda, and S3 for application deployment and management.
  • Experience in developing data ingestion pipelines and handling large datasets efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of best practices for coding, testing, and deployment automation.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
