Job Overview:

The Apparel Buyer plays a pivotal role in developing and executing a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand identity and drives sales growth. This position involves trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.
  • Makes informed purchasing decisions, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Establish competitive pricing models in line with market trends and business objectives.
  • Regularly review sales data, adjust strategies, and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Work with marketing teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of apparel buying experience in retail.
