Job Title: Splunk Team Lead



About the Role:



We are seeking a highly experienced Splunk Team Lead to oversee and guide our Splunk team at Prudent Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Splunk implementation, administration, and optimization, as well as proven leadership skills. The Splunk Team Lead will be responsible for guiding a team of Splunk engineers, ensuring successful project delivery, and maintaining the overall health and performance of the Splunk environment. Relevant certifications in Splunk are highly desirable.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Lead a team of Splunk engineers and guide them in their technical endeavors

  • Ensure successful project delivery and maintain the overall health and performance of the Splunk environment

  • Develop and implement Splunk strategies to optimize system performance and efficiency

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements



Requirements:



The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:





  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud, including administration and architecture

  • Proven experience leading or managing a team of engineers or administrators in a technical environment

  • Strong expertise in Search Processing Language (SPL) and experience creating complex searches, dashboards, and reports

  • Deep understanding of Splunk architecture, including indexing, search heads, clustering, data ingestion, and parsing

  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), IT Service Intelligence (ITSI), or similar modules is a plus

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a strong ability to collaborate across teams and departments

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously



Preferred Certifications:



The following certifications are highly desirable:





  • Splunk Core Certified Power User

  • Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin

  • Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect

  • Splunk Certified Developer

  • Other relevant IT certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes) are a plus
