Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor drilling, concreting, and reinforcement placement activities to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Support senior engineers in preparing piling logs, BBS, and technical documentation for construction projects.
- Conduct field surveys, soil investigations, and pile load testing coordination to verify project requirements.
- Review and verify materials and equipment required for piling works to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality, and safety standards on-site by conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate records of piling & other activities to track project milestones.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of construction projects.
- Support planning, micro-scheduling, and resource allocation for piling and civil works to optimize project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in construction engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of piling techniques (bored piles) and its applications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation tools.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex construction issues.
- Knowledge of piling techniques, load-bearing structures, foundations, construction materials and methods, basic survey techniques, bar bending schedule, estimation, etc.
