Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize sophisticated algorithms for computer vision applications.
  • Design, implement and train advanced deep learning models for object detection, facial recognition and activity analysis.
  • Test and refine models based on real-world data to ensure optimal performance.
  • Evaluate project requirements and develop a comprehensive project roadmap.
  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems into broader product architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends through ongoing research and professional development.
  • Streamline workflow efficiency by automating data preprocessing and annotation processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for algorithms, implementations and evaluations.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proficiency in Python with knowledge of C++, Java and JS as a plus.
  • Strong understanding of neural networks, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and related concepts.
  • Experience designing and implementing deep learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch and Keras.
  • Familiarity with image processing techniques like filtering, edge detection, segmentation and augmentation.
  • Ability to evaluate model performance using relevant metrics and indicators.
  • Knowledge of GPU-related technologies and libraries like CUDA, CUDNN and tensorRT.
  • Experience with OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas and scikit-learn.
  • Basic understanding of linear algebra, calculus and statistics.
  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation, adaptability and strong teamwork capabilities.
