Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Master Data Specialist to join our team. As an Equipment Master Data Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our equipment master data.

About the Role

• Cleanse, standardize, and govern equipment master data across all data sets.">
• Oversee quality assurance of equipment master data, identifying and addressing data discrepancies.">
• Establish and maintain data governance processes for equipment master data to ensure data integrity and reliability.">
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data quality standards are met and implement best practices in data management.">
• Process and analyze equipment master data as per project parameters such as timelines and quality assurance.">
• Quality check automated results and make corrections to meet overall quality assurance.">
• Follow laid down processes, update weekly status, and ensure to have weekly one on one with Project Lead/Project Manager.">
• Knowledge sharing with team members and provide necessary hand holding to MDAs & AMDAs.">
• Customer communication during client calls, with a focus on equipment master data governance and accuracy.">
• Identification of product/material from textual descriptions for categorization.">
• Identification of technical specifications for standard MRO categories e.g., Motors, Pumps, Bearings, Gears, etc.">
• Data modeling of Verdantis data management applications as per client's master data.">
• Tracking project progress with various project management methods such as Daily Status Meetings, 1-1 meetings with managers, Daily/Weekly/Monthly Targets, Problem Solving/Brainstorming Sessions, etc.">
• Documentation of key decisions and communications with meeting minutes and status reports.">
• Perform in a collaborative organizational structure ensuring the right authority is updated with accurate status on timely manner.">
• Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and automation.">
• Evaluate/recommend emerging technologies that may contribute to our analytical platform.">
• Understand and resolve client issues on material data, structure, or processes, especially related to equipment master data governance.">

Requirements

• ">
• BE: Mechanical /Production /Electrical/ Electronics & Telecommunication">
• 6+ years of industry experience, with a primary focus on plant maintenance, equipment master data cleansing, governance, and data integrity.">
• Proven experience in equipment master data management, especially in cleansing, standardizing, and ensuring governance across data sets.">
• Detailed technical knowledge from engineering background.">
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices, particularly as they apply to equipment master data.">
• Thoroughness with previous job - Knew what he/she did?">
• Excellent communication skills - written and spoken.">
• Strong initiative and ownership in driving data governance processes.">
• Ability to perform under dynamic project requirements.">
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.">
• Well-versed with common computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.">
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.">
• Strong presentation skills, especially for client-facing communications.">
• Experience leading equipment master data governance initiatives, including cleaning and standardizing equipment data in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) contexts.">
