Job Title: Storage Administrator

A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Storage Administrator to design, implement, and manage its storage systems.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches. They will be responsible for designing and implementing Netapp storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.

Additionally, they will add disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and High availability controllers, manage DR replications via snapmirror, vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting, and monitoring tools.

They will also provide Operational Support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure within the organization, planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy.

Other responsibilities include handling Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues, checking Storage Critical Events, and performing day-to-day storage tasks, changes, and incidents in storage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in storage administration.
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches.
  • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc).
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS - NFS technologies.
  • Experience with operational ticketing systems like Service Now.
