Senior Design Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior design engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. They will be proficient in Auto-CAD and MS-Office, and have excellent communication and project management skills.
The role involves preparing process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems, as well as designing and preparing profile drawings, calculations, and general arrangement drawings for belt conveying systems.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing technical specifications for material handling equipment, preparing BOQs or BOMs for conveying systems, and conducting concept notes, flow diagram preparation, conveyor design calculations, GA drawings, and detail fabrication drawings for technological structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems.
- Design and prepare profile drawings, calculations, and general arrangement drawings for belt conveying systems.
- Develop technical specifications for material handling equipment.
- Prepare BOQs or BOMs for conveying systems.
- Conduct concept notes, flow diagram preparation, conveyor design calculations, GA drawings, and detail fabrication drawings for technological structures.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B. Tech).
- Proficiency in Auto-CAD and MS-Office.
- 5 to 15 years of experience in design engineering.
