Technical Business Analyst Position

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Technical Business Analyst, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration requirements are met. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets and IBM ITX projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for data integration use cases involving IBM ITX. They will also interpret and map HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets to system data models and ITX transformations.

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst who can collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality results. If you have experience working with integration architecture, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like Jira, Confluence, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Integration: Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data integration use cases involving IBM ITX.
  2. HIPAA X12 EDI Mapping: Interpret and map HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets to system data models and ITX transformations.
  3. Interface Specifications: Work closely with solution architects to define interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and validation rules.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Technical or Integration Business Analyst
  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets and IBM ITX
  • Skill: Ability to understand and document source-to-target data mappings, proficiency in analyzing flat files, XML, JSON, and CSV formats, and hands-on experience with data flow diagrams, interface specs, and business rules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Integration Architecture: Experience working with or supporting API-based integrations, SFTP transfers, and middleware technologies
  • Affinity with Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence
