Job Description

As a seasoned Technical Project Manager, you will lead our insurance vertical as Subject Matter Expert.

With 20+ years of experience in software testing, specifically in the Insurance domain, you will develop and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.

  • Test Strategy Development: Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of life insurance applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Resource Management: Allocate testing resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Defect Management: Establish defect management processes and tools to track, prioritize, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, collaborating with project stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Leading a team of testers
  • Allocating testing resources effectively
  • Establishing defect management processes and tools
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with testing activities
  • Ensuring adherence to quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 20+ years of experience in software testing, specifically in the Insurance domain
  • Proven experience in test management roles
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, processes, underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Preferred exposure in Life Insurance / Health Insurance/Motor Insurance/ Travel Insurance/Property and Casualty
  • Ability to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from the same
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
