Job Title: Java Developer Lead

We are seeking a seasoned developer to drive the design, development, and optimization of high-performance backend applications, services, and APIs.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Java, database architecture, data analytics, and AI/ML integration. This role involves making architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable, data-driven solutions using technologies like Kafka, Spark, Redis, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • Lead the design and development of robust Core Java applications (Standalone, Microservices, and Batch Processing) with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Architect and optimize scalable RESTful APIs for enterprise-grade systems, leveraging Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
  • Drive performance tuning, memory management, multi-threading, and concurrency improvements to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend (ReactJS) and DevOps, for end-to-end delivery and deployment.
  • Design, implement, and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for large-scale, high-volume datasets, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Build and lead data analytics pipelines to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data, utilizing big data frameworks like Spark.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production systems to enable intelligent automation and predictive capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical reviews, architecture discussions, and roadmap planning to ensure knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Oversee cloud-native deployments and manage environments on AWS/Azure/GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expert-level Core Java (collections, streams, concurrency, JVM internals), with experience in designing and developing complex software systems.
  • Proven experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and distributed system architectures, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Advanced database skills - schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning, with experience in working with various database management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka), caching (Redis), and big data frameworks (Spark), with experience in integrating these technologies into production systems.
  • Proficiency in AI/ML model lifecycle - development, training, deployment, and inference, with experience in working with various machine learning libraries and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (Apache Superset, Power BI, Tableau), with experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Understanding of cloud-native architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, serverless) and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in automating builds, testing, and deployment processes.
