Financial Operations Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to manage banking and finance operations, including liaising with banks, handling daily cash management, producing MIS on liquidity, and preparing financial reports. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with banks for banking operations and manage relationships.
  • Assist with daily cash management across various bank accounts, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Produce daily MIS on liquidity, providing insights into the company's financial position.
  • Obtain 15CA/CB certificates and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare weekly payment summaries and review employee claims.
  • Manage credit card transactions and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
  • Process purchases and maintain accurate records.
  • Produce monthly payment reports for accounting purposes.
  • Assist with the execution of financing deals and partner with other departments on contracts management.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts.
  • Prepare and record journal entries using NetSuite to support a timely month-end close.
  • Assist with timely payment of all statutory dues and maintain accurate records.
  • Partner with various departments on accruals, vendor management, and contracts management.
  • Assist the team in preparing and communicating timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly cash projections and provide insights into the company's financial position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related fields.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in handling banking transactions, including credit cards and vendor invoices.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty, with a strong focus on results-driven work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a good understanding of Excel and data analysis.
