Job Title: Data Engineering Lead with Azure Expertise

Company Overview:

IntelERA is a leading technology firm seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing advanced analytics, and ensuring high-performance data processes.

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineering Lead to lead our team in building and maintaining large-scale data systems using Azure Cloud, DBT, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data engineering, cloud computing, and data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using DBT and SQL.
  • Develop advanced DBT workflows utilizing artifact files, graph variables, and complex macros.
  • Implement multi-repo or mesh DBT setups to support collaborative workflows.
  • Utilize DBT Cloud features such as documentation, Explorer, CLI, and orchestration to optimize data processes.
  • Benchmark and improve the performance of data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into existing workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors in pipelines caused by DBT code or transformation issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on ETL processes and data pipeline management.
  • MUST have experience in Azure cloud, working on data warehousing involving ADF, Azure Data Lake, DBT, and Snowflake.
  • At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with DBT.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • Deep understanding of DBT, including artifact files, graph usage, and MetricFlow.
  • Proficiency in DBT Cloud features like CLI, orchestration, and documentation.
  • Strong skills in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
