About the Job

  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites from high-fidelity mockups
  • Develop clean, reusable HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP code
  • Customise themes (child themes, CPTs, ACF, template hierarchy) to meet client needs
  • Ensure websites are fast, accessible, and SEO-optimised for maximum impact
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to bring creative projects to life
  • Maintain high-quality standards with attention to detail
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2–4 years of experience in WordPress development
  • Strong skills in Front-End Development (HTML5, CSS3, JS ES6+)
  • Knowledge of Responsive Web Design best practices
  • Skills in WordPress back-end development - custom post types, taxonomies, theme functions, hooks/filters, and ACF integrations
  • A focus on clean, maintainable code, debugging, problem-solving, and clear communication
