Job Title: Principal IP Analyst

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal IP Analyst to join our Global IP Analytics team. As a key member of our Corporate Global Legal department, you will be responsible for handling patent applications across different jurisdictions with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, expertise in differentiating invention amongst prior arts, and excellent interpersonal leadership skills. You will also have the ability to handle project requests in demanding situations, bring project execution at speed, and demonstrate clarity of thought and effective project-execution skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling drafting of patent applications across different jurisdictions under minimal supervision.
  • Independently handling patent prosecution across different jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrating strong technical skills and expertise in differentiating invention amongst prior arts to draft convincing arguments/articulation of technical subject matter.
  • Demonstrating inter-personal leadership skills, capable of handling & triaging project requests in demanding situations and bringing project execution at speed.
  • Driving result-oriented & meaningful conversations with inventors/subject-matter experts/engineering & business management stakeholders, on technical and legal subject matters.
  • Demonstrating clarity of thought, effective project-execution skills, and ability to demonstrate results with conviction.

Requirements:

  • 6- 9 yrs. of prior experience in IP industry.
