Quality Assurance Role

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of castings and metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspection (Internal & Third-Party):
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections
  • Evaluate dimensional accuracy
  • Perform hydrostatic pressure testing
  • Implement liquid penetrant testing (LPT)
  • Utilize ultrasonic testing (UT)
  • Apply radiographic testing (RT)
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare and review inspection reports
Coordination & Communication:
  • Liaise with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors
  • Ensure smooth execution of inspections according to schedule and client requirements
Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements
Internal Testing & Lab Analysis:
  • Conduct daily production testing and inspection in the presence of third-party inspectors
  • Perform chemical analysis using a spectrometer
  • Undertake mechanical testing: tensile and hardness testing
Technical Collaboration:
  • Coordinate technical activities with NABL-accredited laboratories
  • Ensure adherence to national/international testing standards
Heat Treatment Process:
  • Supervise and conduct quality checks during heat treatment of castings
Measuring Instruments & Calibration:
  • Operate precision measuring tools and gauges effectively
