System Engineering Project Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the successful delivery of complex system engineering projects. As a System Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and control of project activities, ensuring that technical requirements, schedules, and resource allocation are met.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading cross-functional projects and tasks in a dynamic environment. You should possess strong influence and negotiation skills with the ability to drive decision-making across multiple stakeholders at all levels.

- Key Responsibilities:
• Define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop a comprehensive project plan, including schedules, resource allocation, and milestones.
• Manage changes to the project scope and ensure alignment with overall goals.
• Assemble and lead a multidisciplinary team of system engineers, software developers, and other technical specialists.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the system engineering team.
• Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Implement effective cost-control measures and report on project KPIs.

Requirements:
- Minimum 18-20 years of experience along with a graduate or postgraduate degree in engineering.
- Expertise in rolling stock product development process.
- Proven track record of cross-functional projects and tasks in a complex and changing environment. PMP/PMI certification and German language will be an added advantage.
