We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our cylindrical and prismatic lithium-ion battery cell production and testing facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the seamless operation of manufacturing equipment for a designated production segment, including lift assists, jigs, fixtures, trolleys, and more.
  • Maximize equipment efficiency and performance to maintain high-quality output standards.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance production processes to boost operational effectiveness.
  • Lead troubleshooting initiatives and implement sustainable solutions to equipment-related issues.
  • Tailor equipment specifications and requirements based on product needs and production demands.
  • Work closely with process, control, and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as other support teams, to ensure alignment on production objectives.
  • Support the manufacturing engineering team during field construction and commissioning activities.
  • Oversee projects aimed at optimizing production processes and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Background in a technology-driven industry that uses automated production techniques, such as packaging, filling, automotive, clean room, dry room, or chemical processing.
  • Operations Experience: Proven background in high-volume production with a focus on efficiency.
  • Mechanical & Equipment Skills:
    • Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, Catia preferred) for designing equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
    • Skillful in mechanical assembly and fastener selection.
    • Experienced in introducing new equipment and processes.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of automated systems—robotics, vision systems, conveyors, PLCs, HMIs.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational ability.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Language: Fluent in English.

Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum.
