Job Title: Radiology Coding Specialist

We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced medical coders for interventional radiology procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review complex reports to assign accurate codes for procedures and diagnoses.
  • Apply CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for vascular and non-vascular IR procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ACR, CMS, NCCI, payer-specific rules, and LCD/NCD policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IR coding guidelines and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing detailed coding rationale.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CIRCC certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Interventional radiology coding.
  • Familiarity with radiology workflow, RIS/PACS systems, and coding tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.

Coding Expertise Required: This role demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to apply their expertise in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes to ensure correct reimbursement and minimize denials.
