We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Compliance Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering change initiatives across various business functions and ensuring platform governance.

Senior Compliance Manager Role

As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be tasked with managing multiple product vendors and cross-functional teams within IT and Business functions. Your primary focus will be on managing AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Sanctions applications to enhance the platform's efficiency, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across IT and clients.
  • Serve as the highest project escalation point.
  • Ensure projects align with and deliver Business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of compliance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve common objectives.
  • Maintain data confidentiality.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and audits of compliance systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap by ensuring that project costs and estimates are as accurate as possible.
  • Work closely with Business representatives to ensure alignment of delivery with Business demand.
  • Ensure value added proposition in strategic vendor partnerships and aligning vendor product / industry roadmap of platforms with the business strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in delivering changes across compliance domains (AML and Sanctions).
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in related degree of education (Computer Science, Finance).
  • Familiarity with general banking and business operations is essential.
  • Knowledge of current regulatory topics and responsibilities is highly preferred.
  • Experience in applying various implementation and project management methodologies is highly valued.
  • Capacity planning, vendor management, and delivery management using cross-functional teams is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with Fircosoft products and AML solutions like Fiserv is an added advantage.
  • Strong experience in integrating compliance platforms with various other banking systems would be preferred.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in driving change initiatives in an agile way would be preferred.
