Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of data solutions that meet stringent security, performance, and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable data insights.
  • Optimize data workflows for cost-efficiency and reliability.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into cloud data warehouses using best practices in data governance, security, and quality management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in data engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in data pipelines to ensure high data availability and integrity.

Required Skills & Experience

">
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on big data technologies.
  • Proven expertise in Databricks (including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and MLflow) with strong understanding of data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Scala with ability to optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus) with strong understanding of cloud-based data architectures.
  • Strong understanding of big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.) with ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines.
  • Strong SQL development skills with a focus on performance tuning and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for data solutions with a focus on automation and efficiency.
