Fraud Detection Engineer Role at RaptorX

We are seeking an experienced Fraud Detection Engineer to join our team at RaptorX, a fast-growing fintech startup revolutionizing fraud detection and prevention with real-time, predictive technology.

As a Fraud Detection Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing advanced AI models for real-time fraud detection. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our core algorithms, optimize model accuracy, and innovate new techniques to stay ahead in the fraud detection landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced AI models for fraud detection, including graph neural networks (GNNs).
  • Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess, clean, and structure data for model training, ensuring data quality and relevance.
  • Tune hyperparameters, optimize model efficiency, and use distributed computing (e.g., PySpark, TensorFlow) for large-scale model processing.
  • Implement continuous learning and adaptation techniques to allow models to learn and adapt continuously, responding to new fraud patterns and emerging threats.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure seamless model integration.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on advanced model development and deployment in real-time or high-performance environments.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning models, programming skills in Python (required), and experience in ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Data engineering and processing knowledge, familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Spark, PySpark, and data preprocessing techniques for large datasets.
  • Model deployment and MLOps expertise, knowledge of deploying models in production using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
  • Anomaly detection and real-time processing expertise, experience with anomaly detection methods and real-time scoring for large-scale applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with fraud detection or financial services data.
  • Familiarity with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph) for fraud network analysis.
