Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We seek an experienced software quality assurance engineer to bring new features to life and support our products' transition to modern agile practices.

Project Overview:

You will join one of our mobile teams as a seasoned QA engineer specializing in automation and cutting-edge software testing methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Theory-based knowledge of software testing.
  • Experience with developing test automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining existing ones.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, both manual and automated.
  • Strong experience in various testing practices, including unit, load, endurance, and cross-platform testing within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and UI testing protocols.
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture, REST protocol, and API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Experience with Espresso, XCUITest, Testrail, Bitrise, and Charles Proxy.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with Scrum and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of designing and developing all aspects of testing.
  • Collaborating with the Product Owner and development team on acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Designing, executing, and maintaining test scenarios and automation capabilities for various test levels and types.
  • Creating and optimizing test frameworks and integrating them into deployment pipelines.
  • Participating in code reviews for production and test code.
  • Monitoring test runs, application errors, and performance.
  • Maintaining information flow and keeping the team informed about releases and defect tracking.
  • Sharing quality practices and processes across the project.
  • Promoting a quality-focused mindset within the team.
  • Influencing the team towards continuous improvement and best testing practices.
