About the Job:

We're seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our team in designing and developing medical devices. Your passion for embedded software and electronics will drive the creation of innovative solutions that transform healthcare.

  • You'll design, develop, and debug embedded software for various hardware platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electronics design issues at the hardware level, collaborating with colleagues to find efficient solutions.
  • Write and optimize efficient embedded C/C++ code for real-time systems and low-power environments, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to define system architecture and integration requirements, aligning technical expertise with business goals.
  • Develop firmware, drivers, and hardware-software interfaces, leveraging your skills to drive project success.
  • Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting for embedded systems, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Implement and debug communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet, maintaining industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Optimize system performance focusing on memory, power consumption, and CPU efficiency, driving business outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for system architecture, designs, and code, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with QA teams for comprehensive test plans, ensuring quality and reliability.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with relevant projects (medical devices).
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Embedded C, and Assembly with familiarity in assembly language.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, ARM Cortex, and other embedded platforms.
  • Experience with IoT, Wireless Communication, or AI/ML in embedded systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and debugging tools like JTAG.
  • Strong understanding of hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware-software interaction.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and knowledge of hardware communication protocols.
